Breast Cancer Awareness - Digital Billboard Design

"Go Pink" was a national, public service announcement (PSA) digital billboard campaign which promoted the National Breast Cancer Awareness Foundation's breast cancer awareness month. Breast cancer is the most common type of women's cancer according to the Center for Disease Control and it is estimated that about 1 in 8 women will develop breast cancer in their lifetime. Using the well-known breast cancer awareness color of pink was an obvious choice but I wanted to design something different from the traditional ribbon billboard; something which would draw immediate attention and resonate with women. The bra image offered a bold, vibrant "pop" to the short but clear message and simplistic feminine design. The creative for this outdoor advertising blends all the best elements which out of home offers: an easy to read message matched with a bold design.

 

This outdoor advertising campaign won 2nd place in the 2014 Outdoor Advertising Association of Georgia (OAAG) creative contest.
